Supothanan (Supo) Jayakkumar is the Founder & Managing Partner of Jaya Capital, based in Toronto. He brings approximately seven years of capital markets experience, including research focused on North American technology companies, semiconductors and AI infrastructure. Before founding Jaya Capital, Supo served as an Executive Assistant in the Ontario Public Service, working across the Transportation, Housing and Mental Health portfolios. That experience gave him a practical understanding of Ontario’s policy environment, public processes and the importance of effective stakeholder relationships.

Supo is also the CEO of Scarborough Innovates, a community innovation hub supporting early-stage startups in Scarborough. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Toronto Metropolitan University (2023). Through his work across business, government and innovation communities, he has developed relationships with municipalities, industry associations and participants across the data centre supply chain. At Jaya Capital, he focuses on connecting the right people, capabilities and opportunities to help projects advance in Ontario.
